Hello current and future riders, I am Gunner. I am a little bit older and the past 12 months I have been recovering from a couple different situations. Jordan and Emma spent a lot of time with me to ensure that I would be ready to get back to work just in time for summer camp! I missed working so much and I love having a job again, my kiddos are awesome! I can only walk trot now, and I am better suiting for those just learning the ropes of horseback, but I cannot wait to meet new friends and teach you all about horses this year. Please come visit me! And bring snacks, I love snacks! 

Hello everyone, my name is Cracker Jacks, but my friends call me Crackers for short. This will be my second year here at Camp and I am so excited to see what new friends I can meet this winter. I enjoy walk/trot work with my beginner riders and I love to teach our advanced students how to canter and eventually how to jump. I also like trail rides, the event field or just hanging out and talking if you need a shoulder to cry on, I am a great listener.  I hope you will join us this fall! 

Hello everyone, my name is Molly. I am new here at CMEC, I retired from a therapeutic riding center in CT and moved to Camp in May. I was great in the summer camp program and enjoyed working with my new camp family and making all these new friends. I hope to meet more friends this fall, join me in the year round riding program! 

Hello new friends, I am Burt! I am new here, I moved to Massachusetts in February of 2022 with our Equestrian Director. Please don't let my size make you think otherwise, I am very kind and have big heart for my riders. I do not know how to canter, but I am very good walk trot and I love trails. I may not live with the camp horses but I still do lessons from time to time and I love doing our Boy/Girl Scout Horsemanship classes with Jordan and Emma on the weekends. I hope to see you soon! 

Hello riders, my name is Sonador. I am named after the well known 2005 horse movie "Dreamer", Sonador is Spanish for dreamer. Like Burt, I also do some lessons here and there and do Horsemanship classes from time to time even though I do not live with the other camp horses. I mostly do walk trot, but I also love trail rides and can also be a great listener if you just need an ear to talk to while grooming. I can also help you dispose of some apples or carrots if needed! In January of 2023, I lost my right eye due to cancer. But don't worry, it doesn't affect my ability to work and now that it's gone I am back to happily working! 

Hello all, my name is Sterling. I also don't live with the camp horses but I look forward to meeting all of our students anyways! I still do lessons from time to time in the program and also weekend programs like my friends. I enjoy advanced riders as my favorite thing to do is jump! I also enjoy hunter pacing on trails, the event field or just assisting you in cleaning up some cookies if needed instead.
