Boarding Options 

Year round boarding for your equine partner is still available! We currently have openings in both Rough and Semi-Rough board, please contact us today about stalls and opportunities!

 

Please note: For rough and semi-rough boarders we require a refundable security deposit equivalent to your first month's board.

 

Please know that you must submit a completed board contract, 1st month's board with deposit, as well as proof vaccinations at least 2 weeks prior to your horse's arrival. All boarders are required to complete a CORI/SORI form due to our year round and summer youth programs. 

All Boarders: 

  • Have one 10x10 box stall per horse 

  • Use of shared tack room per barn aisle 

  • Private turnout in a 50x50 paddock

  • Must provide all supplies needed for daily/routine care

  • Use of shared/private grain room 

  • Must supply all grain/shavings/hay/supplements etc. 

  • Use of all facilities (rings, indoor, trials, fields etc.) 

  • Extra storage for supplies/feed in loft above stalls 

  • Must follow policies/rules etc. outlined in board contracts.

Rough Board 

Includes everything outlined above. Boarders are responsible for all daily care and maintenance of all horses. (all feedings, cleaning stalls/paddocks, turn in/out etc.) 

Semi Rough Board 

CMEC staff can provide basic care for your horse either for AM chores or PM chores. Monday through Friday only, major holidays not included. Boarders must still provide all supplies and feed etc. and must ensure paddocks/stalls and meals are set up and ready for our staff. 

AM Meal Plan:

CMEC staff will provide your horse their daily am grain. Hay and water in the paddock(s) must be completed prior to am turn out, after eating, a staff member will turn your horse out for the day. Staff will do one needed blanket change, apply fly spray/fly mask as provided etc. at turn out. 

PM Meal Plan: 

CMEC staff will turn your horse in at night and provide nightly grain. The stall(s) must be set up prior to pm turn in with fresh water and hay and a clean stall with appropriate shavings etc. Staff will provide one blanket change, removal of fly mask/sheet etc. as needed at turn in.

Mandatory Vaccinations 

  • Negative Coggins Test (Must be signed)

  • Eastern Equine Encephalitis

  • Western Equine Encephalitis

  • Tetanus

  • Rabies

  • Influenza

  • Rhinopneumonitis

  • West Nile Virus

  • Strangles 

  • If the horse is arriving from outside of Massachusetts, a health certificate is required dated within the last 30 days.

  • All other vaccines (such as Potomac Horse Fever) are optional and at the owner's discretion, any other vaccines given must be submitted with required vaccines yearly and prior to horses arrival. 

  • All vaccines/coggins are required to be kept up to date yearly, copies must be handed in to the Equestrian Director prior to expiration date and prior to horse's arrival to Camp property.
